Tokenize/Detokenize Date

Tokenize Date

1. Create Date2ParameterSpec. Pass dateFormatScheme, preserve, startYear, endYear, and tweakData as arguments.

2. Create an NAESession object. Pass Key Manager username and password as arguments.

3. Obtain an instance of the key you want to use for the tokenization operation.

4. Get TokenizationService from the TokenizationFactory. Pass algorithm, key, and Date2ParameterSpec as arguments.

5. Invoke the tokenize method of the TokenizationService. Pass the data in byte array (date to be tokenized) and dateFormat as arguments.

Detokenize Date

1. Create Date2ParameterSpec. Pass dateFormatScheme, preserve, startYear, endYear, and tweakData as arguments.

2. Create an NAESession object. Pass Key Manager username and password as arguments.

3. Obtain an instance of the key you want to use for the detokenization operation.

4. Get TokenizationService from the TokenizationFactory. Pass algorithm, key, and Date2ParameterSpec as arguments.

5. Invoke the detokenize method of the TokenizationService. Pass the data in byte array (date to be detokenized) and dateFormat as arguments.

Cleanup

After performing tokenization/detokenization, this API is used to cleanup the resources allocated to the memory.
