Thales, with its broad product portfolio, protects diverse enterprise resources, including SaaS applications and on-premises legacy web applications. However, for some legacy resources, such as desktop or command-line applications, MFA cannot be applied out of the box.
The SAS PCE integration with Silverfort addresses these scenarios by extending MFA across the enterprise landscape, ensuring consistent identity protection and a unified user experience.
In this integration, SAS PCE provides MFA for authentication requests received by SafeNet Access Exchange through Silverfort. After successful authentication, MFA-based SSO is extended to subsequent access requests.
The integration comprises the following components:
