public class LunaProvider
extends java.security.AuthProvider

This is the entry point for the Luna-based JCA implementation. This class registers all of the cryptographic mechanisms implemented in the Luna Java Security Provider.

To use this provider, add the following line to your java.security file (replacing <n> with the appropriate value for your provider list):

security.provider.<n>=com.safenetinc.luna.provider.LunaProvider

getInstance

public static LunaProvider getInstance()

Gets an instance of the LunaProvider. This method should be used to get a LunaProvider instance if not registering the provider statically but it is desired to pass a provider instance to the JCA getInstance methods dynamically.

Example: KeyStore.getInstance("Luna", LunaProvider.getInstance());

Returns:

the LunaProvider instance.
