getHexString

public static java.lang.String getHexString(byte[] raw,
                            boolean addSpaces)

Turns a byte array into a human-readable hexademical string.

Parameters:

raw - The byte array to transform

addSpaces - if true, adds a space after each hex couplet. Sometimes this can increase readability.

Returns:

Hex string version of the byte stream

hexStringToByteArray

FixDESParity

public static byte[] FixDESParity(byte[] keyValue)

FixDESParity This method will correct parity on a DES key. Luna HSMs require that DES keys have correct parity (i.e. the total number of bits in each byte must be odd, with the LSB being the parity bit). This is not an enforced condition in all other security providers. This method is provided for convenience to aid in importing a DES key from another provider into the Luna hardware.

Parameters:

keyValue - RAW bytes of the DES key to fix

Returns:

Parity corrected key bytes

getEncodedDigest

                               throws LunaException

Generates an encoded ASN.1 digest of the given message, using the given digest algorithm.

Parameters:

b - The message to digest

off - Offset in the message array to begin digesting

len - Length of data to digest

digestAlg - The digest algorithm to use

Returns:

An ASN.1 encoded DigestInfo structure

Throws:

LunaException - exception
