Create Left and Right Remote Access Control key cards

Restart your internet browser.

Enter the name (for DHCP) or IP address associated with your HSM.

Click Log In.
If you already have Left and Right key cards i.e., cards that have been created on a payShield 9000, you may use them.

Insert a Smart Card into the Card reader.
The Commission payShield wizard opens. Follow the prompts.

Click Next.

Insert your smart card.

Enter your PIN and then press OK.
PINs are entered via the Smart Card terminal keypad. Remember to press OK after entering a PIN.

Click OK.

Enter a new PIN and then press OK.

Click Next.
The system is ready to create the right key card.

Click Next.

Insert the Smart Card into the reader.

Enter the PIN and then press OK.

Insert the card into the Smart Card reader.
The system prompts to recommission the card.

Click OK.
The system starts to process.
The system prompts completion.

Remove the smart card from the reader and click Next.

Click Finish.

Restart your Internet browser; enter the IP address associated with your HSM. The system displays:

Refreshing the payShield Manager landing page can repair most landing page connectivity. However, once logged in, refreshing any page will end the current session and you will be required to log back in.

The Settings/Tools icon allows card reader configuration, the TLS certificate to be downloaded, and the Smart Card to be inspected. Additionally, selecting the icon displays the bridge’s current version.
