Installing and Deploying CTP
This chapter describes how to install and configure the CipherTrust Teradata Protection on your Teradata host.
Prerequisites
A hardware key manager, for example, the CipherTrust Manager (CM).
Access to the key manager from all Teradata nodes.
For each node, you need:
Root password to Teradata nodes.
The IP address or FQDN of the node.
Installation executable file for CipherTrust Teradata Protection version 6.6.0. For example:
ctp16.10-6.6.0-10-sles12sp3-x86_64.bin

This installs the following:
CipherTrust Teradata Protection, including the CipherTrust Key Agent software.
User Defined Functions (UDFs).
CipherTrust Local Cryptoserver Daemon.
