Changing SMB Connection
If the GuardPaths are on an SMB share, the SMB connection can be modified after a GuardPoint is created.
To change the SMB connection:
Open the Transparent Encryption application.
Select the desired client or client group.
Click a client under the Client Name column (Clients > Clients).
Click a client group under the Client Group Name column (Clients > Client Groups).
On the GuardPoints tab, click the overflow icon (
) corresponding to the desired GuardPoint.Click View/Edit. The Edit GuardPoint dialog box is displayed.
Select the desired SMB Connection from the drop-down list.
Click Save.
The GuardPoint is updated successfully with the new SMB connection.
